Hello and happy Friday! I’m talking about tech watches today because lately I’ve been super obsessed with them! It seems like tech watches are popping up all over the place. I mean, there’s the FitBit, Gizmo, and Apple, just to name a few. I’ve tried both the FitBit and Apple, and I must say, I absolutely love the Apple design. Since making a decision to purchase one of the many tech watches out there, I decided to make a pro and con list of the Apple Watch since it’s definitely my favorite one out there!
Pro:
- Comfortable to wear
- The band comes with a large and a small size so it fits all wrists
- Interchangeable band designs
- Easy to use apps
- Fitness app is great for tracking workouts
- You can download other fitness apps you may prefer
- Being able to receive alerts directly to the watch is great for when at work
- Easy to respond to a quick text message
- Connects with other apple products
- Waterproof – this is a BIG pro since I’m super clumsy and always spilling!
Con:
- Scratches easily and is expensive to fix
- Battery only lasts about 30 hours
- Camera only works if you have your phone out and open to camera mode
- Mail app doesn’t download images
- When you get alerts – you can not open them on your watch
- Fitness app only has generic workouts. For example, if I’m doing an interval workout like Orange Theory Fitness or Pilates, I have to track my workout on an “other” setting.
Overall, I love my watch and I’m happy with the features it does have. I wear it everyday, change out the bands depending on the occasion, and definitely feel like a modern day James Bond at ties!
