Homemade pizza is always better than store-bought. I spent a day experimenting with different recipes for my favorite types pizza. Today, you can learn how to make an amazing veggie pizza.
You can use store-bought or homemade pizza dough for this recipe, but I bought pre-made pizza flour for the dough. The dough is still made from scratch, but the dough blend just added a bit less work for me!
Pizza Dough Ingredients:
-Perfect Pizza Dough Blend
-2 tbsp instant yeast
-1 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 cup warm water
-2 tbsp olive oil
1. Combine all the ingredients together, then mix with a beater.
2. Once the ingredients are mixed together, need with hands and/or a roller.
3. Let the dough sit for an hour.
4. When ready, sprinkle flour onto a flat surface and roll out the dough into the desired size and shape.
5. Brush the dough with olive oil.
Pizza Topping Ingredients:
– 1 tbsp olive oil
-1 garlic clove, minced
-12 ounces ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced
-1/8 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
-1/2 cup sliced mozzarella
-1 tbsp shredded parmesan
-1/3 cup basil
-1 cup sliced red peppers
tomato sauce (your desired amount)
1. Turn the oven to 500 degrees. Then combine the olive oil and garlic together, then brush on the pizza.
2. Brush tomato sauce over the dough, then spread the sliced tomatoes over the sauce.
3. Sprinkle the parmesan, basil, red peppers, oregano, and mozzarella on the dough.
4. Bake the pizza for 12 minutes.
