About once a year I post my favorite sunscreens and it’s that time of year! Sunscreen is so important to wear when the sun is out, especially as the weather begins to heat up. I may be biased because I’ve been burnt badly about 100 times (thanks genes) but I have tried and tried about 100 different types of sunscreens. If you name it, I’ve tried it, promise.

I just discovered Colorescience sunscreen when they sent me a few samples to try. I love the idea of a powder sunscreen that can be used over makeup throughout the day. What is worse then having a cute outfit on and flawless makeup and having to reapply your sunscreen? So for me, Colorescience will win in their convenient method of application. My favorite sunscreen for coverage, however, definitely goes to Elta MD. I discovered this sunscreen a year ago and it has not disappointed. It is lightweight, effective, and feels like lotion instead of sticky sunscreen on your skin.
